§1 SUBJECT OF THE REGULATIONS
The Regulations of the Health Resort apply within the Sanatorium and apply to all persons staying in it.
The institution offering the rooms is hereinafter referred to as the "Sanatorium", while the room tenant is called the "Guest".
Sanatorium Regulations define the rules for the provision of services, responsibility and stay at the Sanatorium and is an integral part of which is concluded by making a reservation, payment of the advance payment or the entire amount due for the stay or by signing the registration card. By performing the above activities, the Guest confirms that he has read and fully accepts the terms of the regulations and undertakes to comply with them.

§2 HOTEL DAY
The living quarters in the Sanatorium, hereinafter referred to as the "rooms", are rented for set days. The hotel day starts at 13:00 and ends at 10:00 the next day. In case of the National Health Fund Visitors, the hotel day on the day of departure is extended to 12:00. If the Guest did not specify the length of stay at the time of renting the room, it is assumed that the room was rented for one day. The request for the extension of the hotel day should be made by the Guest no later than 8:00 am on the day of the end of stay. The Sanatorium may not accept the wish to extend one's stay if all beds (rooms) are booked or in the case of a Guest who does not comply with the applicable regulations. The Sanatorium reserves the right to refuse to extend the Guest's stay in the event of failure to make full payment for the previous stay. Unauthorized extension of the hotel day is associated with an additional fee. During so-called "High season" the fee for extending the hotel day is 60 PLN/1 hour.
§3 RESERVATION AND CHECK-IN
Reservations can be made online, by phone or in person. After making the reservation, a Guest receives an initial reservation agreement by e-mail or traditional mail, which contains the terms of the reservation and information necessary to make an advance payment of 20% of the stay. In case of reservations for 1 day, the deposit amount is 100% of the value of the stay. If the deposit does not come through to the hotel's bank account within the time limit set in the initial booking agreement or it is received later, the Sanatorium has the right to offer the room to another person and cancel the reservation. An amount equivalent to the deposit will be returned to a Guest's account within 7 days from the date of cancellation by the Sanatorium of the reservation. After posting the deposit on the bank account, a Guest receives by email information that his reservation has obtained the guaranteed status. Any comments regarding the issue of an invoice for the stay, a Guest is obliged to submit at the time of payment. Subsequent changes will not be possible.
In case of cancellation by the Guest of a guaranteed reservation:
- more than 30 days before the beginning of the stay - the Sanatorium refunds the entire amount of the deposit,
- 29-14 days before the beginning of the stay – the Sanatorium refunds 50% of the deposit;
- 13 days-0 days before the beginning of the stay – the Sanatorium does not pay back the deposit.
In case of making a reservation when there is not enough time to make banking activities related to the advance payment, before the planned arrival date:
- email correspondence from a Guest will be treated as an order and will be subject to the applicable cancellation conditions,
- the Sanatorium has the right to pre-authorize payment cards or to withdraw funds from it in the amount of 20% of the stay value, treating this payment as a down payment.
The basis for accepting the Guest is completing and signing the registration card or presenting of the photo ID to the checker. In case of refusal, the Sanatorium has the right not to accept a guest. Guests may not transfer rooms to third parties, even if the period for which they paid the amount due and the time of their stay has not expired. Persons not registered in the Sanatorium may, at the invitation of the Sanatorium Guest, stay in a hotel room from 7:00 to 22:00. The Sanatorium may refuse to accept a Guest who during the previous stay grossly violated the regulations of the Sanatorium by causing damage to the property of the Health Resort or Guests, or harmed other Guests, Sanatorium employees or other persons staying in the Sanatorium, or otherwise disturbed the peaceful stay of Guests or the functioning of the Sanatorium.
The Sanatorium reserves the right to pre-authorize payment card or collect fees for the entire stay at the time of registration. Additional fees arising from the stay are to be regulated by the Guest on the day of departure at the latest. If a Guest leaves the Sanatorium within the time limit specified in the guaranteed reservation agreement, the difference in the cost of stay will not be refunded. If Guests do not arrive within the time limit specified in the guaranteed reservation agreement, the Sanatorium will not refund the advance payment.
The Sanatorium provides services in accordance with its offer. In case of any reservations regarding the quality of services rendered, please report them to the reception as soon as possible, which will enable the Sanatorium staff to react immediately.
The Sanatorium is obliged to ensure:
- conditions for a full and unfettered rest,
- security of stay and personal data protection,
- professional and courteous service in the field of all services provided by the Sanatorium,
- cleaning the room in accordance with the schedule and performing necessary repairs of devices during Guests absence, and in their presence only if they wish so,
- changing the room within possibility or otherwise alleviate the inconvenience if the room's defects cannot be removed.
At the Guest's request, the Sanatorium provides the following services free of charge:
- providing information related to the stay and travel,
- making reservations for the next stay,
- waking up at the indicated time,
- lending a hair dryer and an iron Guest for use (only in a designated place).
- storage of luggage, whereby the Sanatorium may refuse to accept luggage for storage on dates other than the date of the Guest's stay and items not having the characteristics of personal luggage.
§5 SANATORIUM’S RESPONSIBILITY
The Sanatorium is responsible for the loss or damage of items brought by persons using its services to the extent specified in the provisions of art. 846-849 of the Civil Code, unless the parties agreed otherwise. The guest should notify the service of the damage immediately after it is discovered. Sanatorium is not responsible for theft, damage to money, theft, damage or destruction of documents of value, valuables or items of scientific or artistic value, if these items were not deposited in a safe at the reception.
In case of loss or damage of the items referred to above and put into storage in the safe at the reception, the provisions of the Civil Code art. 846-849 and the provisions contained in a separate document called "Rules for the use of lockers in a hotel safe." In case of loss of the items referred to above, the compensation shall not exceed the amount determined in accordance with the provisions of the Minister of Justice of 14th November 1964, No. 1, item 2, as amended. Sanatorium is not responsible for damage and loss of a car or other vehicle belonging to the Guest as well as for items left in the vehicle regardless of whether the vehicle was parked in the Sanatorium parking lot or outside its premises.
§6 GUEST'S RESPONSIBILITY
Children under 12 should be under constant supervision of legal guardians on the Sanatorium grounds. Legal guardians are financially responsible for any damage caused by children. The Sanatorium Guests bears full financial responsibility for any damage or destruction of equipment and technological devices in the Health Resort caused by their fault or the fault of the Guests visiting them. The Sanatorium reserves the right to charge the Guests' payment cards for damage caused after their departure, and in the absence of card details, it has the right to apply for financial compensation. As soon as any defects or damages occur in the room, Guests are obliged to inform the staff. In case of a breach of the regulations, the Sanatorium may refuse to provide further services to a Guest who violates them. Guests are obliged to immediately comply with the demands of the Sanatorium, settle the payment for the stay and any damages and to leave the Health Resort. For security reasons, Guests leaving their rooms should always close the windows, turn off the taps and lock the door. The Sanatorium has the statutory pledge on items brought by Guests to the Health Resort in the event of delay or failure to pay for services rendered.
§7 RETURN OF THINGS LEFT
Personal items left in a room by an inattentive guest will be returned at the Guest's expense to the address provided. If a Guest does not provide instructions regarding sending back the items left behind, the Sanatorium will store the items at the owner's expense for a period of three months, and after this period they will become the property of the Sanatorium. Groceries will be stored for 24 hours only.
§8 NIGHT SILENCE
The Hotel is subject to quiet-hours period from 22:00 to 07:00 the next day. The behavior of Guests and persons using the services of the Sanatorium should not disturb the peaceful stay of other guests. Sanatorium may refuse to continue providing services to a person who violates this rule.
§9 ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS
Due to fire safety, it is forbidden to use open fire, e.g. candles, irons or other similar electrical devices which are not included in the room. The sanatorium is strictly a non-smoking area. In case of violation of the ban, the Guest will be charged the costs of refreshing the room.
If the fire protection system is activated and the fire brigade arrives, the Guest will also be charged. In both cases it is 300PLN. It is strictly forbidden to possess and use illegal drugs in the Sanatorium. In case of a breach of this prohibition, this fact will be reported to the police and a Guest will have to immediately leave the property without the right to reimbursement for shortening of the stay. In hotel rooms Guests cannot store dangerous items, i.e. weapons, ammunition, flammable and illumination materials, etc. Losing the room card is associated with a one-time fee of 25PLN. Guests agree to the storage and processing of personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 101, item 926, as amended) by SSW "LECH" Sanatorium Uzdrowiskowe, with headquarters in Kołobrzeg, ul. Korzeniowskiego 1, for the purposes necessary to implement the Guest's stay, use by the Guest of other services provided by the Sanatorium. Guests have the right to inspect their personal data and correct them. Contact with the data protection officer – email@example.com. Acquisition and doorstep sales are prohibited. It is forbidden to make excessive noise on the premises, cause unpleasant smells, or perform other activities that disturb, harm or irritate other guests.
Guests are not allowed to make any changes to hotel rooms and their equipment if it violates their functionality and security. All complaints regarding stay should be submitted to the management of the Sanatorium in writing to the e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The court competent to settle disputes between Guests and the Sanatorium is the court competent for the main seat of SSW "LECH" Sanatorium Uzdrowiskowe.
